As a Barclays FIG (Financial Institutions Group) Trade Finance and Working Capital Origination, Vice President, you will partner with the Global Relationship Director (GRD) managing Financial Institution Clients in Americas, meeting their global Trade Finance requirements. You will originate, structure, execute, and advise on Trade Finance and Supply Chain solutions. This is an opportunity to meet the needs of existing clients, protecting income lines from potential competitor threats and through the acquisition of new business.
Salary/ Rate Minimum: $145,000
Salary/ Rate Maximum: $215,000

What will you be doing?
Delivering Trade Finance revenue and building new and enhance existing customer relationships within your allocated coverage sectors
Building and maintaining solid customer relationships with valuable key client contacts through effective client planning
Partnering with Coverage, Product, Legal and Operations to originate and execute transactions and facilities
Working closely with counterparts in other Barclays locations to originate and execute multi-jurisdictional transactions
Identifying and driving business opportunities with new and existing clients across all key client sectors
Coordinating across the global Trade & Working Capital business to leverage our entire platform for the benefit of clients
Monitoring nominated customers/trade facilities for risk, returns, utilisation, and trends that may impact our business
Providing market feedback to management for the purposes of refining product offerings
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in business, and previous experience working with Financial Institutions preferred
Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals
Previous experience in Trade Finance Origination and a thorough and in depth understanding of Trade Finance product set
Excellent research and analytical skills and solid written, oral communication and reasoning skills
Skills that will help you in the role:
Self-starter, able to create and follow a sales roadmap
Commercial Effectiveness: Including Client /Customer Focus and Commerciality
Working understanding and prior experience with financial modelling, credit, and financial analysis
Experience and understanding working of FIG/Insurance sector clients highly preferred
Where will you be working?
You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
