Skills & Requirements
- Required H.S. Diploma or GED
- Preferred associate degree in finance, Accounting or Business Operations field or bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or Business Operations field
- Required 3 years of Payroll, Timekeeping, Accounts Payable or Financial Disbursements Experience
- Preferred 1 year of Payroll, Timekeeping, Accounts Payable or Financial Disbursements Experience in a Healthcare Environment
- An associate degree may substitute for 2 years of required experience. A bachelor's degree may substitute for 3 years of required experience.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborates with internal core stakeholders, leadership, and peers to identify system issues and process needs.
- Identifies system or application needs.
- Conducts analysis of current business practices, user needs and workflow processes.
- Documents the current as is & to be business processes.
- Performs analysis and makes recommendations.
- Investigates alternative solutions including feasibility studies using results from reports, metrics, and evaluations.
- Uses data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvements.
- Cross trains staff and/or end-users as needed.
- Drafts job aids and communications for staff, vendors, and/or stakeholders, follows test and pilot plans, and provides post go-live support as needed.
- Engages users in analysis and evaluation of functional models and prototypes; identify dependencies.
- Supports key strategic initiatives in projects and new processes.
- Maintains functional processes by following established departmental policies and procedures, workflows, and departmental goals.
- Provides ongoing support and training of systems.
- Initiates timely contact with stakeholders/end users to follow up on open items.
