- Financial Consulting Analyst
- Location: Seeking candidates in the San Antonio, TX area (Remote Role)
- Active Secret Clearance is preferred.
- Salary Range $65,000 - $85,000
Position Description:
- Basic Function: Candidate will assist in establishing, maintaining, and utilizing software and spreadsheets to track costs, resources, and program performance of a global DoD IT deployment program.
- Key Responsibilities: Assisting in setup and maintenance of a large program consisting of multiple projects. Create and manage the Performance Measurement Baseline, process baseline change requests (BCRs), maintain baseline (CBB) log, calculate best case/most likely/worst case EACs, and produce various ad hoc reports as requested by the client or Project Manager
Requirements:
- Assist clients with identifying and analyzing risks
- Perform quality assurance of financial data
- Respond to data calls for cost reports and analytics
- Support the overall financial management and oversight of the program by the PMO
- Experience with briefing Executive leadership by identifying risks and issues that will allow prioritization, planning, and preparation needed to ensure success
- Support the managers and project team members in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of program cost.
- Analyze reports to identify, resolve, and communicate issues with managers
- Provide objective technical, schedule and cost performance analysis to program management
Preferred:
- Knowledge and experience developing and managing program budgets and spend plans
- Strong skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint to collect, analyze, and report large amounts of cost data
- Experience performing variance analysis, baseline reviews, break-even, and other ad hoc analysis
- Ability to articulate thoughts and express ideas effectively using oral, written and non-verbal communication skills
- Experience in program control & financial management for Government programs
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or Mathematics or Equivalent experience
