The Financial Analyst will play a leading role in various analytical efforts within the group while developing and managing relationships with key leaders and stakeholders within various business units.

While no day will be completely the same, you will execute daily responsibilities in these various functions:
- Assesses the financial and economic performance of various business units and departments through detailed understanding of expense drivers and cash analysis while identifying ways to decrease costs
- Work with department heads in the context of regular financial monitoring, evaluation of new initiatives, budgeting, forecasting, and performance improvement
- Monitors performance of various business units and departments (including variance analyses) and preparing periodic reports to senior management
- Analyzes and recommends ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue/margin
- Analyzes historical business trends and identifies future expense maximization
- Assists in the production of analysis and recommendations for senior management with respect to strategic business decisions
- Assists in forecasting and creating financial models
- Creates and analyzes financial statements to present to senior management
- Prepare routine balance sheet and P&L flux analysis
- Assists in developing budget preparation and reporting
- Helps to improve current finance processes through simplification and/or automation
- Assists with implementation of new tools and systems
- Ad hoc analyses, projects and tasks as required
- Interact cross-functionally and with all levels of the organization
- Look for opportunities to automate, refine and continuously improve reporting and processes
Skills, Education & Experience
- High school diploma and minimum 2 years relevant experience required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Must be able to travel throughout the region and to trade shows as needed
- Working knowledge of Netsuite preferred
- Understanding of general financial accounting, cost accounting and GAAP
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Ability to work independently
- Expert technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and assist and train others
