What You’ll Do
40% - Forecast & Analysis
- Support the annual budget and monthly projections.
- Assist in automating standard processes and reporting to reduce reporting burden and increase meaningful/value added analyses.
25% - Other
- Work closely with internal accounting team to provide support documentation and commentary for annual external audit requests.
25% - Month-end close responsibilities
- Work closely with internal accounting team during the close process to ensure proper accruals and deferrals.
- Assist in preparation of monthly variance analysis as it compares to actual vs. forecast.
10% - Perform ad-hoc analysis or special projects
Who You Are
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects and adhering to deadlines
- Strong time management skills and ability to switch focus as necessary
- Maintain a positive attitude and be able to adapt to changes
- Self-confident and proactive in building relationships internally and externally
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with all members of the organization and all levels of management
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting
- 1+ relevant years of accounting/finance experience, preferably with some experience in a transaction support or corporate finance role
- Proficiency in Excel is a must
- Knowledge of accounting fundamentals and US GAAP is a must
- Experience with Great Plains or similar G/L systems a plus
- Interest in the media industry is a strong plus, though prior experience is not a necessity
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
- CPA or equivalent highly favorable, but not required

Salary Range
$62,400.00 - $80,000.00 A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity.
