Job Summary: Must be local to Phoenix, AZ Metro Area

The Financial Analyst is a key member of a company's finance team, responsible for various financial activities, including planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting. The Financial Analyst will work closely with other members of the finance, accounting, and operations departments to provide guidance and analysis on business performance. The analyst should be able to make informed decisions based on their findings and ensure the company's financial status remains on track.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports
• Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders
• Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports
• Assisting with budgeting and monthly close processes
• Evaluates and track cash flow, capital expenditures and depreciation
• Developing financial projections and financial model to support organizational decision making
• Performing research and analysis as required
• Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related analytical field required.
• At least Three (3) to Five (5) years of professional experience in financial analysis, data analytics or technical financial and reporting roles
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information and models in a concise and effective manner
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and database applications
• Experience with ERP systems and working with large amounts of data
A relevant certification, such as CFA or CPA, is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
