What you will be doing
The Financial Analyst III - FP&A is responsible for supporting the division’s financial planning and management reporting processes, consolidating business unit results, and performing financial analysis of business operations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Prepares monthly estimates, annual budgets, and long-term financial plans, including related summary commentary and analysis
2. Assist in preparation of monthly reporting package and other business presentations as required; prepare ad hoc reports as needed
3. Maintain effective communication process with key stakeholders and business partners to ensure that financial plans and monthly/quarterly analyses are accurate, complete and timely
4. Develop, coordinate, and prepare operating expense plans and estimates
5. Develop, coordinate, and prepare balance sheet and free cashflow forecast
5. Assist with the month end close and allocation processes
6. Analyze operating income components and report significant variances
7. Prepare reports on key business drivers and trends
8. Strive for continuous process improvement in assigned areas
9. Generate ad hoc analysis reports as needed
10. Perform related duties as assigned

What your background should look like
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Four-year Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required. MBA or CPA preferred. In some business units, may require broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree program. Requires a minimum of four (4) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
The ideal Financial Analyst III - FP&A will have four or more years of finance experience as well as strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Strong understanding of financial processes and systems
2. Robust knowledge of data analysis, data mining tools including data warehouse applications, SAP, Hyperion Essbase, MS Access, MS Excel, SQL, and other query and reporting tools
3. Strong knowledge of profitability analysis
4. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
5. Ability to establish good relationships; drives long lasting change across functional boundaries; ability to work with all levels within the organization
6. Strong business acumen in the areas of economics and finance; understands operational impacts on financial processes
7. Understanding of ABC policies, philosophy, goals and objectives to affect financial oversight in protecting the company's assets
8. Strong mathematical and analytical skills
9. Strong organizational skills; attention to detail

- This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
