Financial Analyst, Corporate Fp&A - Vista Outdoor

Job Description
Vista Outdoor is looking for a highly motivated, energetic, and financially minded individual to join the Corporate Finance team. This person will be responsible for supporting corporate FP&A and financial consolidations and reporting of our portfolio of outdoor products brands. This is a highly visible role that will work cross-functionally with the corporate team, as well as directly with our various businesses to help streamline forecasting and reporting.
This position reports to the Senior Manager, Corporate FP&A and allows you the flexibility to work from your home office or is based out of our Anoka, MN office.
As the Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A, you will have an opportunity to:

• Coordinate consolidation of financials for actuals, forecast, budget, and long-range plan
• Conduct monthly variance analysis for all three financial statements
• Assist in creation of overall business forecast, budget and long-range plan
• Support business as an administrator for financial consolidation software
• Work with corporate and business unit finance teams to source data and prepare presentations for executives
• Collaborate with broader finance organization to make process improvements and improve consistency
• Support management with ad-hoc projects and reporting requests

You have:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• One to three years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance
• High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Experience in three-statement financial modeling
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the company
• Ability to prioritize multiple competing priorities
• This position does not require travel
• Experience working for a consumer products company

You might have:

• MBA and/or CPA preferred
• Knowledge of Planful and NetSuite preferred
• Excellent communication skills, including effective business partnering competencies, and the ability and desire to translate complex financial concepts into core insights
• Experience in a corporate function

Work Conditions:

• Must be able to perform up to 8 hours of computer work, sitting or standing.

Pay Range:
$58,600.00 - $92,400.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
