Job Description
The Financial Analyst will partner with and advise our manufacturing operations team on costing, financial statements, reconciliations, and inventory.
This can be a hybrid role based out of our location in Brookings, SD. You should expect to work in office 1-2 days each week after training.

Job Description
The Financial Analyst will partner with and advise our manufacturing operations team on costing, financial statements, reconciliations, and inventory.
This can be a hybrid role based out of our location in Brookings, SD. You should expect to work in office 1-2 days each week after training.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Reporting and analysis of financial data of manufacturing expenses and key performance indicators
- Assist in the development of annual plant budgets and monthly forecasts.
- Evaluate and communicate periodic actual plant results compared to budgets, forecasts and prior periods focused primarily on variance reporting, and productivity metrics.
- Assist in the standard cost development for new products and Cost Roll Process.
- Participate in the monthly and Y/E financial closing process by reviewing activity, creating journal entries, and reconciling all relevant accounts for the plant.
- Assist inventory team on processes and ledger movements.
- Assist plant leadership in reconciling daily production metrics including scrap and labor efficiencies.
- Coordinate with the Plant Controller to ensure proper financial reporting, SOX controls and audit support within the manufacturing site.
- Assist in projects pertaining to plants continuous improvement.
- Perform ad hoc assigned tasks, including special projects, analysis, and communication as needed to support operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting
- 1+ years of accounting/finance experience preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
