Job Purpose:
Analyzes financial status by collecting, monitoring, and studying data; recommending actions. Using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, communicate financial trends and results across broad array of company organizations and vendors.
Duties:
* Participates in the overall management of vendors and clients related to contract management, analyses, auditing, reporting, financial transactions and tracking.
* Accurate and timely reporting of vendor financial activity, both ongoing (daily/weekly) reports and ad-hoc business analysis.
* Perform complex client invoice analysis to identify errors, discrepancies and opportunities for cost savings/cost avoidance for network/telecommunication services compared to clients' tracking systems, order documentation and carrier agreement documentation.
* Identify opportunities to improve processes and streamline work for clients to document, present and summarize opportunities for the client.
* Drive monthly accruals by vendor/carrier for clients related to the contractual commitments to the client.
* Lead efforts to create and maintain a vendor database for use across multiple clients driving best practices.
* Compares and analyzes actual results with plans and forecasts.
* Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.
* Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
* Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
* Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
* Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials.
* Increases productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements.
* Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
* Other duties as assigned
