The Sr. FP&A Analyst is responsible for assisting the CFO as directed in all areas of financial and manufacturing analytics along with procurement. With a focus on inventory, cost, productivity, and price, the Sr. FP&A Analyst will be involved in forecasting, reporting, and reconciling all areas of the business. Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and deliver various reports and analyses, including sales, production & pricing.
Inventory management for finished goods, raw materials, and spare parts including material variance reconciliations, oversee weekly/monthly counts and annual physical inventory
Productivity reporting and tracking
Capacity Analysis
Capital Expenditure studies
Work with Production and Quality to develop and maintain KPIs
Monthly board presentation
Budgeting and forecasting, including quarterly forecasts and annual operating budget.
Supporting operational management and other key departments within the organization.
Financial modeling
Assist purchasing personnel, including identifying process improvements, demand planning, and contract negotiations.
Monthly bank reconciliations, commission reporting and sales reporting
Weekly cash forecasting
Process weekly cash ACH payments and monthly bank reconciliations
Ad hoc reporting and special projects.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Operations, or Supply Chain
Minimum 5 years of business experience.
Analytic and detail oriented
Manufacturing experience a plus
Experience in Job Costing and Pricing
Inventory and Material reconciliation experience
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, handling extensive data
Strong organization skills, with the ability to consistently hit daily, weekly, and monthly requirements
Enthusiastic with a desire to get involved
Strong work ethic and willingness to get the job done.
Cross-functional mentality and a desire to learn all aspects of the business Physical Requirements
Office environment. Ability to sit, stand or walk distances for up to 10 hours per day
Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
20/40 vision in each eye, with or without correction, is required
Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to, steel toed shoes, safety glasses and hearing protection).
