Sabre88 is recruiting for a Financial Analyst (GS-14 equivalent) to manage pre and post award contract action for a tentative contract award. This position will be full-time Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST. The ideal candidate must maintain a satisfactory standard of competency, conduct, and integrity and will provide financial oversight and audit analysis for high dollar, complex contracts and will be responsible for tasks such as reviewing invoices, tracking accruals and variances, monitoring contract burn rates, and providing analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to ad-hoc queries and support data-driven decisions leveraging universal standard contract management reports and dashboards.
- Collect, compile, and provide data call inputs or reports, to include trend analysis, to create refined submissions.
- Collect and analyze contract data for reporting purposes, support ongoing trends, and detailed analyses across the various portfolios concerning performance, financials, and service delivery.
- Monitor Option periods, expiration dates, and contract burn rates across the portfolio.
- Conduct initial reviews of complex invoices and document any deficiencies or errors.
- Assist with tracking monthly accruals and provide a rationale for variances.
- Provide detailed reports and dashboard visualization for contract and spend data using an existing approved intelligence tool such as Microsoft Power BI.
- Conduct initial reviews and provide analysis of cost and price proposals submitted for acquisitions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Bachelor?s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in the Federal acquisition process.
- Ability to work with individuals at all organizational and management levels.
- Demonstrated capability to review and provide substantive analysis of price proposals related to acquisitions.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze significant amounts of data, records and files, report findings of such analysis and make recommendations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, including the creation of visual displays of data in all relevant applications.
