Job Purpose:
We are seeking a self-motivated individual who has strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail with professional verbal, and written communication, time management skills, accountability, prompt follow-through and ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
This highly visible position will support all planning, month-end, and ad hoc financial analysis activities. The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of P&L statements, various finance/accounting concepts, variance analysis and financial modeling.
You must have the ability to operate and work across functional groups and be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization including senior executives and front-line team members.
A mindset towards process improvement and automation a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare annual financial budget and monthly financial forecasts based on analyses to support organizational decision making.
- Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
- Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends.
- Assist in preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial analysis schedules of actual versus budget variances.
- Provide financial analysis support for department managers.
- Develop ad hoc reports.
- Design and monitor key performance metrics which drive the behavior of the business.
- Demonstrated understanding of GAAP accounting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance, or similar disciplines
- 1-2 years of experience as a budget analyst, Financial Analyst, business accountant, or similar
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications
- Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis
- Experience in Financial modeling and forecasting.
- Demonstrates excellent financial and quantitative skills.
- Experience with accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Works independently using project management skills.
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity and professionalism.
- Great organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in an environment that is rapidly changing, where processes and procedures are in development.
- Experience in Microsoft Tools usage Excel, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint.
- Communicates effectively and has strong presentation skills.
- Requires a valid driver’s license for occasional local travel.
- Ability to work in the office Monday through Friday.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,001.00 - $80,000.00 per year
