Title: Analyst
Reports to: CFO of Aeromark
Location: HQ- Ontario, CA
Position Summary:
In the Analyst position, you will assist the CFO with various accounting tasks within Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and GL reconciliations as well as take on the task of performing analytics within the multiple companies that Aeromark is invested in. You should possess the strong ability to perform analysis and data crunching to improve optimization and achieve cost savings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Perform full cycle accounting responsibilities including bank recs and journal entries.
•Prepare financial reports, monthly variance analysis, and financial drivers.
•Create financial models based on analysis to support organizational decision-making.
•Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, providing insights and recommendations.
•Monitor and analyze costs across all areas of business, recommending opportunities for cost optimization.
•Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to help others understand business performance.
•Analyze process issues and bottlenecks to make improvements.
•Coordinate with different departmental teams to improve productivity.
•Test business processes and recommend improvements.
•Identify automation opportunities.
•Gather and analyze data for potential business expansion as well as identify specific business opportunities and ways to capitalize on them.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications, skills, and abilities:
•Bachelor’s degree in accounting required with four or more years in a Business Analyst role.
•Master’s Degree preferred.
•Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
•Strong analytical skills, auditing skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to identify automation opportunities.
•Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills required.
•Superior presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
