Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement/Lean 6 Sigma/5S background needed

This role is 80%-90% Working on the Production Floor, 10%-20% office work

This is a hands-on LEAD position

We specialize in customized mid- and short-run packaging solutions and serve a diverse customer base in the pharmaceutical, dairy, household chemicals, food/nutraceuticals, industrial/specialty chemicals, water, and beverage/juice segments.

This is an immediate opportunity for an experiencedIndustrial Maintenance Mechanic who will troubleshoot, diagnose, perform repairs, installations and maintenance on plant equipment, production machinery and facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Champions a safety culture, ensures safe work environment and promotes safe behavior
• Train and Coach Production Staff
• Operates blow mold machinery and other machinery
• Performs mold changes, neck tooling, pin and other equipment changes
• Load/Unloads trucks
• Installs, adjusts and repairs blow mold machines, trimmers, palletizers and other related equipment. Trouble shoots these machines and PLC programming issues
• Records shipping data
• Determines shipping method
• Quality Control throughout the facility
