About Our Opportunity:

This position reviews and completes federal and university verification processes for Financial Aid applicants and serves as an area resource on the verification portal focusing on Indianapolis. This position will work with Needs Analysis team to maintain and update area manuals annually. This position counsels students and parents in person, over the phone and through email and provides backup support to Needs Analysis, verification, and central processing team members.

What We're Looking For:
Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Three years of experience in an administrative setting.
  • In lieu of degree, consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of related education and required work experience (High School Diploma + 7 years of experience).
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and through email with a diverse group of students, parents, and colleagues. 
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with technical programs (such as software or virtual meetings) and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Preferred: 

  • Financial aid experience.
