Reporting to the CFO, the Finance Manager will be responsible for Credit, AR and AP, including Process Improvement, managing the team, partnering with business unit leaders across the company and leading analysis for business and strategic issues for Bobrick. We are looking for a self-starter that will leverage their financial, strategic, management and Process Improvement skills to build and improve the credit, AR and AP functions within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the accounts receivable, accounts payable and credit functions
- Implement industry best practices
- Review existing processes. Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities. Make recommendations. Lead changes
- Incorporate technology as appropriate. Identify technical partners and make recommendations. Support system implementations
- Lead by example: Be able to execute all AR, AP and Credit transactions within the various systems (in order to help drive improvements through every step of the process!)
- Establish core KPI's. Drive standardized reporting. Support ad hoc analysis
- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff. Recommend further courses of action
- Support company growth into national accounts. Provide appropriate reporting
- Work closely with Marketing and Sales to drive actions and strategy
- Drive team culture. Manage, mentor and upskill a team. Drive a continuous improvement and LEAN mindset
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university
- Process improvement experience
- People leadership (direct reports.) Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being met
- Credit, AR or AP experience
- Educational background in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Proven track record as a business partner to senior management
- Cross-functional team player
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Advanced Excel and modeling skills
- Experience with Infor Syteline, OneStream, BillTrust, Smartsheet, or other major Financial Reporting / ERP systems (Hyperion/Oracle, SAP, etc.)
- Experience implementing AR, AP or Credit systems
- Dashboard tool experience (Tableau, PowerBI, BIRST, etc)
