Join us for this incredible opportunity to become the Finance & Productivity Manager at Hyatt Regency Houston located downtown.
The Finance & Productivity Manager is responsible for two focused areas:
Productivity - Creating, implementing and sustaining the labor strategy of the hotel in conjunction with the Leadership Committee and GM in order to optimize productivity and labor. This individual is also responsible for determining optimal mix of volume drivers to forecast labor based on current trends and historical data. They will be utilizing our payroll system tools ensure that labor hours are forecasted and scheduled appropriately based on volume. Conduct daily meetings with department managers to ensure each department is operating with optimum staffing levels, and to understand factors that may influence staffing. They participate in daily operations stand up meetings.
Finance - The individual will be responsible for some specific general ledger departments, maintaining daily finance functions and supports the Area Director of Finance for. Hyatt Regency Houston and Hyatt Centric the Woodlands. Additionally, this person will be responsible for efficiently supporting the Finance department in line with Hyatt corporate standards while meeting guests and owner’s expectations.

Qualifications
- Hotel operations experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong excel skills
- Assist with reporting, maintenance and preparation of account reconciliations
- Review, investigate, and analyze sales promotions, voids, negative postings and variance
- Prepare journal entries and execute month-end closing check-list
- Assist with year-end audit process and reporting
- Facilitate special reporting and analysis projects
- Help Manage contract files and maintain COIs in SharePoint for A&G
- Manage and help oversee hotel on-site finance functions
- Run and review the daily report
- Any other duties or projects as assigned by the Area Director of Finance
