What Finance Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Finance Operations is responsible for the oversight and overall performance of the following core financial processes. This includes pricing administration, rebates, cash application, chargebacks, billing, accounts payable and employee travel & expense.
Responsibilities
- Liaison for internal and external stakeholders to Cardinal Health’s third-party service provider (offshore) for Accounts Payable.
- Responsible for the finance transactions related to our at-Home Solutions Segment, including invoices, credits, uploads, and requests from internal and external teams.
- Accountable for handling level 1 escalations for scope of work, both internal and external.
- Responsible for monitoring the team’s service level and other performance health metrics.
- Will be tasked with invoice processing, statement reconciliation, payment runs, vendor maintenance, supplier management and other accounts payable activities.
- Will be accountable for identifying process improvement opportunities, including functions that can be automated via RPA or other technology solutions.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in finance, accounting related field, preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Excel experience (Vlookups, pivot table functions, etc.) preferred
