Our goal is to create resonant experiences that put the player in charge of the story, giving them agency where most games take it away.

We are looking for a Finance Manager who will provide broad financial support to the studio executive leadership, including assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, management reporting and dashboards. This position emphasizes both strong analytical capabilities and strong business-partnering.

• Collaborate with studio leadership to oversee game budgets, P&Ls, pinpoint variances in revenue and costs, and implement corrective measures.
• Help lead strategic planning process and participate in the greenlight process for new projects.
• Monitor and report on actual financial results, related metrics, staffing levels, and operational expenditures.
• Conduct monthly P&L reviews with department leads.
• Liaise with project production teams to communicate key updates and reflect impacts on full product P&Ls in both actuals and forecast.
• Partner with accounting to support monthly close process.
• Prepare other ad hoc analysis, reports and special projects as requested by senior management.
• Identify areas of cost savings and optimization.
• Liaise with outside firm to prepare the company's tax returns.
• Own the development, improvement, and document all internal finance policies and procedures.
• Oversee Payroll process.
• A/P & A/R
• Review A/P & A/R transactions for accuracy.
• Assist in the development of the annual operating plan and forecasts.
• Create project-specific P&Ls for profitability analysis.
• Improve the company's financial performance by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.

• Minimum 3 years relevant work experience
• Experience in budgeting, general accounting, financial analysis
• Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and strong interpersonal skills are essential
• Ability to lead projects and bring them to a successful conclusion within given timeframes
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff & management
• Ability to independently meet deadlines while understanding when to communicate updates, follow up, and seek guidance from management
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities professionally
• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Manage the preparation, analysis, and reporting of production and studio overhead budgets
