Key Responsibilities:
Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Finance Manager to support the Metro New York Commercial team to ensure the company's goals and initiatives are met. This role will be responsible for P&L and financial operations responsibility for DSD Metro New York region. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Responsibilities:
- P&L and financial operations responsibility for DSD Metro New York region
- Responsible for total and brand financial reporting, forecasting, planning, analysis, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and customer / vendor account support
- Partner with management and various other functions, including supply chain operations, corporate finance, and sales
- Analyze and execute pricing adjustments
- KPI, performance driver, and metric tracking / reporting
- Business improvement projects as necessary
- Capital Projects analysis / tracking / reporting
- Contribute to management review preparation
- Manage a team of three; reports to remote Sr manager of Ecommerce and MNY
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance
- 5+ years relevant finance experience; FP&A a plus
- Consumer Packaged Goods experience required
- Knowledge of Direct Store Delivery (DSD) distribution and Metro New York sales area a plus
- Tackle ambiguous problems to determine and prioritize business strategies
- Demonstrated ability to implement short and long term strategies to support organizational operation and transformation
- Lead, influence, and collaborate across functions to drive results through formal and informal channels
- Willingness to adapt and thrive in a blended work environment, seamlessly transitioning between remote work and in-office operations as required
Willingness to be onsite in the Whitestone office
- Ability to thrive in a fast pace agile environment with limited direction and balance competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to support building strong internal and external relationships and effectively communicate your work product
- Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
