As the Credit & Finance Manager, you will lead a team of approximately 20 employees overseeing markets in Colorado, New Mexico, and El Paso, Texas, aligning with the company's vision of operating as "One Professional Team." The team comprises 17 individuals responsible for Credit and Collections functions, including processing customer credit applications, authorizing credit extensions, monitoring customer accounts, and taking necessary actions to ensure timely payments. Additionally, there are 3 Finance Group members in Colorado who support sales and customers in arranging external financing for equipment purchases.
Essential Functions:

- Ensure consistent and timely publication of key credit reports.
- Manage the annual incentive compensation plan for managers/supervisors.
- Conduct annual reviews and salary adjustments for managers/supervisors.
- Define, implement, and maintain Credit/Finance policies and procedures.
- Identify and implement key performance metrics for Credit/Finance success.
- Evaluate department staffing and organization for optimal effectiveness.
- Keep internal personnel informed of issues regarding customer accounts.
- Represent the company professionally with customers, Caterpillar, Cat Finance, and other stakeholders.
- Foster cooperation and teamwork between the Credit/Finance Department and company operations.
- Develop managers and staff in policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with internal personnel and customers through various channels.
- Collaborate with the Sales Department, CFO, and occasionally 3rd party financing companies to create financing incentives and programs.
- Develop solutions for customer financing using internal/external resources.
- Ensure protection of Wagner's legal rights through state lien rights laws, bonding laws, proper documentation, and transaction structuring.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- College Degree Preferred
- 1-3 years administrative/clerical experience
- 5+ years customer service experience
- 3-5 years sales experience
- 3-5 years supervisory/management experience
