Job Description
The primary objective of this role is to lead the annual and strategic financial planning, monthly forecasting, and reporting processes for $200M+ of Capital Spending across FBIN in an efficient and sustainable manner. This role will also partner to deliver against financial targets and appropriately communicate risks and opportunities to the leadership teams.
Position Location: This role is designated as a hybrid role which includes working at least 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in our main offices located in Deerfield, IL to foster better collaboration, connection, and innovation.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Ownership of Capital consolidation and messaging of actuals, forecast and annual/ strategic plans
- Executive Summary creation to proactively answer potential follow up questions and expedite approval process
- Create capital model and provide data for AOP target setting discussions with FBIN leadership
- Partner with FBIN leaders to build annual Plan and monthly Forecast for capital across FBIN
- Continuously challenge capital projects to meet or exceed company KPIs
- Continue to identify and implement process improvements to consolidation, forecasting and reporting
- Ownership of CER approval process
- Develop and implement a post completion audit process across the org, beyond the current Internal Audit process
- Prepare monthly commentary with business drivers for forecast changes
- Review forecast assumptions, drivers, and variances with Ops Finance leadership
- Lead plan/ forecast creation, reporting and forecasting
- Prepare monthly reporting materials for the Supply Chain Month End Package Review and monthly business reviews
- Prepare AOP plan presentation for review with FBIN leadership
- Manage, develop, and mentor capital finance team
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required
- 3+ years of relevant work experience is required; 5+ years preferred.
- Self-starter who has had success working in ambiguous situations
- Strong analytic skills
- Have an enterprise-wide mindset and seek to influence business partners to do the same
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: __
- SAP and Qlikview experience preferred
