Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to play a key role on our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This position will work closely with multiple stakeholders across the organization to align on critical inputs, ranges of outcomes, and confidence intervals. This is a high judgment role that requires someone who can execute without structured guidance, navigate ambiguity, and effectively deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Key job responsibilities
- Serve as a key business partner to the FP&A Finance Director and VP of Finance of SMGS with high visibility to the broader Finance Community.
- Lead, re-imagine, and re-define key cadence processes that help business leaders understand progress to goals as well as strategic insights to guide overall direction.
- Identify ways to simplify legacy processes and mechanisms through automation.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed and present findings to senior management.
A day in the life
In this role, you will challenge the status quo of our existing processes and mechanisms around core FP&A deliverables, with an aim on simplification.
You will lead core cadence processes that will have visibility to the VP, Finance of SMGS and the VP, CFO of AWS.
