Job description

One of our clients, a large and reputable CPA firm in Central Arkansas, is seeking a Finance Manager for their Business Advisory Services division. This is a unique opportunity to join a world class team and be a part of an established and growing division that specializes in CEO and CFO outsourced services throughout the country in an array of different industries. This is a newly created position due to growth that will report directly to the Partners and work with a highly skilled team. There is growth opportunity to partner-track as well and the Finance Manager can be 100% remote and sit anywhere in the United States!

Day to day responsibilities will always be changing due to the needs of a client, but main responsibilities/skillsets needed will include:

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives, financial goals, and operational challenges
  • Reviews planning process suggesting improvements where possible while overseeing investment funds working closely with investment bankers if additional capital is required for expansion purposes.
  • Provide strategic financial planning and analysis (FP&A) services, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support informed decision-making.
  • Manages business risks & insurance requirements; suggests improvements to current planning methods & oversees investment funds raised for expansion purposes as required by clients executive leadership/management strategy
  • Conduct regular financial reviews and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Offer guidance and leadership in financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Deliver comprehensive client back-office training and support, including software implementation, process optimization, and staff development.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert insights and recommendations to drive financial growth and profitability.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to deliver high-quality financial services and solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously enhance service offerings and expertise.
  • Implements ways to leverage existing accounting software or assists in conversions of new systems.
  • Provides cost accounting support for better understanding margins of products sold.
  • For certain clients you might: Assist in month end close processes, review and analyze financial statements, income statements, and balance sheets

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or CPA / CFA certification preferred.
  • Proven experience 5 years in financial planning and analysis, accounting leadership, or related roles, preferably in a CPA firm or financial services environment.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with clients and internal teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of driving results and delivering value to clients.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; Strong Excel Skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
