Unite Us is dedicated to fostering community connections and empowerment, and we're in search of an ambitious Finance Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to delve into the intricacies of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) while contributing to our mission-driven work. Our 8-week summer internship class runs from June 3rd to July 26th, 2024.
What You'll Do:
- Engage in self-paced training sessions to master Planful, our FP&A software, for report creation and analysis.
- Collaborate closely with Finance team leaders in training sessions to develop essential analysis reporting skills.
- Demonstrate your organizational prowess by meticulously maintaining data in Planful, ensuring accuracy and reliability in our financial reporting processes.
- Utilize your intermediate Excel skills to support various financial analyses and reporting tasks.
- Navigate and leverage the Google Suite proficiently to streamline communication and collaboration within the team.
- Tackle challenging projects head-on, from assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities to conducting variance analysis.

- You're pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, demonstrating a keen interest in the financial landscape.
- You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, eager to take on new challenges and learn on the fly.
- Your proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite allows you to navigate complex datasets and streamline workflows effectively.
- While prior experience in variance analysis and FP&A software tools is beneficial, it's not a prerequisite – we're more interested in your willingness to learn and grow.
- Your strong collaborative skills enable you to work seamlessly within the Finance team and engage with colleagues across different departments.

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:
- This internship is remote, U.S. based
- This internship is $20/hour for 35 hours per week
