If you are a Finance Student looking for an opportunity to learn, Copeland HVACR Americas has a great opportunity for you! Based in our St. Louis, MO location, you will have the opportunity to gain invaluable professional experience in a fast-paced environment. You will support the day-to-day functions of the department, while also providing an opportunity to work on special projects and develop technical skills.
AS A FINANCE INTERN, YOU WILL:
- Participate in the month-end closing processes, including creating journal entries
- Verify vendor information, including creating new suppliers and making changes to existing vendors within the supplier database
- Assist in the preparation of domestic and international tax reporting requirements
- Prepare various accounting analyses and reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of charts for management presentations, including automating files
- Create and revise procedure documents to reflect current processes
WHO YOU ARE:

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
- Sophomore or higher class status
- Basic knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, procedures, and techniques
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
- 2.75 Cumulative GPA
- Junior or Senior Class Status
- Experience with Access, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Oracle

Flexible Work Schedule
This role has the flexibility of a core hour schedule. You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Our teams work together to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers.
