We have an exciting role open within Caterpillar’s Corporate Services organization for a Finance Director role as Aftermarket Parts Decision Support. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop essential business information and provide counsel and insights to management for business analysis and return on investment activities for aftermarket parts.  You will be leading a high performing team, serving as the trusted business partners to the business focused on profitable growth for services.  This role interacts with business units across the company including segment services organization and component groups.  You will play a crucial role in ensuring standardization of approach to aftermarket parts investment analysis and enabling success in achieving our enterprise services growth targets.

What You Will Do:

• Providing business analysis support with enterprise perspective by assisting the business in establishing target costs, new product introduction analysis, new services development, investment analysis, sourcing analysis, go-to-market strategies and product price strategies
• Guide business units on standardized approach to aftermarket parts investment analysis and ensure compliance to EP5:04
• Provide oversight to the Parts Present Value analyses for all Cat Brand Machine and Engine NPI programs at each Gateway
• Publish and maintain Parts Present Value used for profitability analysis and reporting
• Serve as process owner for services growth portfolio tracking tool Aftermarket Mission Control
• Champion Global Finance Services transformation initiatives
• Effectively lead a diverse team, focused on proper talent development, succession planning, performance management and target setting.

What You Have:

• Finance and Accounting: Knowledge of finance and accounting practices, financial analysis, and reporting; ability to apply finance knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
• Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
• Financial Forecasting and Modeling: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques of financial forecasting and modeling; ability to explore and evaluate alternative financial scenarios and results.
• Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

Top Candidates Will Have:

• Bachelor's degree in an Accounting or Finance related discipline
• Progressively Accounting or Finance experience, including cost accounting and budget development
• CPA, CMA, or CFA preferred
• Previous experience supporting investment analysis
• Aftermarket Parts and Services (maintenance offerings, customer value offerings) experience

• The location for this position is Peoria, IL or Irving, TX
