The Borough of Whitehall is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Finance Director. This position is responsible for most financial and budgeting functions of the Borough and plays an integral role in assisting the Borough Manager and Council achieve the Boroughs financial and operating objectives. This position reports directly to the Borough Manager. Applicants should possess knowledge of local government finance and accounting. A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible work experience is preferred.
The Finance Director is responsible for all aspects of the finance department including, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, deposits, journal entries, coordinating audit activities, budget preparation, financial reporting and maintenance of financial records.
