The responsibilities of the F&A Admin include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Creating and maintaining the Accounting wiki
- General management of Accounts Receivables (including monitoring losses) and Accounts Payables
- Reconciling account balances
- Maintaining budget spreadsheets
- Rejecting or accepting expense reimbursement receipts
- Banking related activities (deposits, reconciliations, etc.)
- Reporting and client collections
- Determining and issuing credits to customers (inspections, etc.)
- Managing payment plan offerings
- Determining when to issue and sending of non-compliance notices
- Participating in informal and formal mediations for proposed suspensions
- Production Partner contract management
- Assisting with grant requests for proposals, recording and scoring
- Improving and redesigning processes when significant errors are found
- Gathering data for key organizational indicators (KOI)
- Developing webinars and appropriate communications related to renewals, fee increases, etc.
- Responding to audit requests
- Role modeling diversity, equity and inclusion
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Two-year degree in relevant field or minimum of three years related experience
- Demonstrated attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Customer service and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and being discreet in communicating financial information
- Intermediate Excel skills
- F&A Admin Level 1 – Non-Exempt
- F&A Admin Level 2 - Exempt
- All of the above
- Minimum 2 years professional experience directly related to Finance and accounting administration
- Mastery of F&A Admin Level 1 responsibilities and skills

The Finance and Administration Administrator (F&A Admin) works collaboratively as part of the Finance and Administration team to provide excellent customer service to our employees and clients. The F&A Admin is responsible for general accounting, Finance and administrative duties associated with supporting the department and the F&A Director. The F&A Admin may be involved in projects and may have some decision-making responsibilities. The F&A Admin also serves as a resource for the Administrative Assistant, Certification Operations Administrators, and the Transaction Services Administrator.
This is a fully remote work position. The salary range for this position is $47,000.00 to $60,000.00 depending on experience. The total pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience and training, location, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographical differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Oregon Tilth, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the posted pay range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
