AM Home Delivery is seeking to contract with Non-CDL Owner Operators / Independent Contractors. This is an opportunity for delivery drivers with experience operating 26’ box trucks and home delivery experience of bulky items like appliances and furniture.
**This is a business opportunity for Independent contractors & Owner Operators who own and operate their own delivery business.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide truck and 2 man delivery team
- Timely, accurate delivery & installation of appliances, furniture, and other big bulk items
- Properly use dispatch / routing app
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Monday – Friday and weekends as needed
- Occasional 1 day lay over routes
Requirements:
- 26ft box truck with lift gate
- Provide a two-person delivery team
- Must have personal set of tools
- Active MC & DOT number with the FMCSA
- Valid SSN/FEIN
- Current COI
- Drivers will need a valid Driver’s License with good driving record
- Appliance installation experience required
- Must be 21 years of age, 18 if non-driver
