Job description

Position Purpose
To be part of a team that presents 200+ film per year utilizing professional digital cinema equipment in the projection booths of Spaulding and the Loew Auditoriums.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a theater or technology background.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with fellow team members and management.
  • Ability to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Position will require frequent standing, bending/kneeling, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs

Previous experience is preferred

Schedule
Able to work a consistent but flexible schedule, shifts are primarily between Thursday-Sunday each week.

  • Operates the projection and sound equipment for presentation in Spaulding and the Loew.
  • Performs periodic maintenance of these projectors at an elementary level.
  • Inspects and evaluates digital prints and blu-rays before each screening.
  • Advises supervisors of malfunctioning projection or sound equipment and/or anticipated future needs and technologies.
