Job Title: Filling and Packaging Technician- First Shift

Location/Division Specific Information
- Work for a small First Shift team manufacturing, Filling and Packaging reagents used across various DNA testing platforms
What will you do?
The Senior Manufacturing Technician will operate and maintain a variety of Filling and Packaging equipment to manufacture DNA testing reagents in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices. In this position, you will encounter recurring work situations with minimal complexity and is encouraged to be a proactive team member.
- Maintain batch and equipment records per department’s ISO 13485 standard.
- Perform required in process testing including conductivity and pH testing.
- Participation in process improvement and 5S projects.
- Establish realistic job responsibilities within shift.
- Participation in the Engineering Change Request process and Trackwise problem reporting system.
- Adheres to current Good Manufacturing Practices and standard operating procedures.
- Works closely with manufacturing management to ensure document changes, deviations and CAPAs are performed in compliance with SOP’s and cGMP.
Work Hours: Mon-Fri 7:00am- 3:30pm
How will you get here?
Education
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or GMP environment preferred, preferably in biotechnology manufacturing.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Strong communication skills to work as a member of a team and collaborate optimally with other Teams and Functions
- Knowledge of SAP or similar inventory control system desired
- Basic math skills and mechanical proficiency
- Ability to meet a high standard of quality and safety.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
