Job Description:
The MIP Packaging Technician reports to the MIP Manager and MIP Packaging Supervisor. The ultimate objective of the Packaging Technician is to package MIP products efficiently and compliantly, while maintaining a production and sanitary work environment. The MIP Packaging Technician assists the MIP Packaging Production Lead and MIP Packaging Supervisor with daily tasks, as needed, to maintain a productive work environment. The MIP Packaging Technician is a full-time position and may be required to work overtime.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Package finished good MIP products accurately and effectively
- Adhere to supervisor and production lead direction with ensuring that production goals are met on a daily basis
- Oversee the quality of products daily, understanding the quality standards at NEA, and report quality issues to management
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment
- When required, accurately produce quality acceptable labels for packages
- Communicate effectively between the Packaging, Kitchen, Distribution, and other NEA departments
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Maintain a reliable attendance record
- Proficient with Microsoft: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Possess a can-do attitude, resourceful, action oriented, reliable, and a team player
- Excellent communications skills as applied to internal teams
- Motivated with flexibility and adaptability
- Possess a sense of urgency, problem-solving, and organizational skills with great attention to detail
Education and Experience:
- 1+ year of relevant work experience
- Over 21 with ability to obtain an MA agent registration card
Physical Requirements:
- Sit or Stand for up to 8 hours
- Ability to to lift up to 50 lbs

- Monday - Friday 9:30 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
- Monday - Friday 6:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
