Job Title: File Room Clerk

Location: Broadway Gary, IN

Job Description:

· This position is part of the records retention project. Files and deals with correspondence and performs other general office duties.

· The position will help organize current records based on their type and retention schedules.

· The incumbent will be making copies, completing basic forms, removing paper/binder clips and documenting the files before packaging and shipping to the Records Center.

· The Incumbent performs standardized and non-standardized tasks and requires the incumbent to effectively manage agency resources while keeping consistent with agency policies and laws affecting the agency.

· Ability to work independently

· Ability to attend to detail and maintain accuracy and confidentiality

· Ability to lift between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $14.17 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
