SalaryPOSITION PURPOSE
Provides clerical support for the Collateral Department to ensure proper processing of loan functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Sort and distribute interoffice and overnight mail for collateral services
- Work postal mail daily and consumer loan intake that is delivered weekly
- Scan and image paper documents into appropriate software systems
- Retrieving information and files for incoming requests.
- Retrieve paid loan files for the collateral team so they are ready to prepare the releases
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate data entry.
- Create and maintain records for offsite files
- Assist in data cleanup and formatting, identifying, and resolving any inconsistencies or errors.
- Provide regular progress reports to supervisors and update team members on data entry status.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Assist other associates when needed and any other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: At least one year of related experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: General knowledge of compliance and regulations procedures.
SKILLS/ABILITIES: Have a positive, professional, and courteous interaction with associates and customers, when necessary.
Be able to manage multiple projects/duties with accuracy and minimal supervision.
Display a positive team working attitude with associates in all departments.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent attention to detail.
Self-motivated taking the initiative to accomplish the task.
Basic computer knowledge
Understanding of data confidentiality is imperative.
Complete duties by pre-established deadlines when necessary.
