MPE Testing is performed to measure the RF radiation levels on cell sites (mostly Rooftops) to assure compliance with FCC standard on Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE).

Job Locations:
1. Pennsylvania/Ohio Market - Able to travel between East PA, Delaware, South NJ, Ohio, West PA
2. New England Market - Able to travel between MA, RI, CT, NH, ME
3. NYC (Queens/Brooklyn/Manhattan area and some work in Long Island)
Certifications:
- Nice to have RF Safety or RF Awareness Certification
- Must have OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
JOB MUST HAVES:
- Both COVID-19 & Booster vaccination are MANDATORY including proof of vaccination.
- Must undergo a drug screen and a background check.
- Must be comfortable working outside in all types of weather.
- Must be comfortable working with tall ladders and have NO FEAR of heights
Job Duties:
- Able to travel between the cities as per the project requirements.
- Able to communicate with Landlords and building management when required to secure site access and avoid access issues.
- Able to verify the building layout from the CD, PRE-VISIO or draw a new layout based on the site conditions.
- Able to identify the carriers on the site and judge based on the labels/Azimuths/Color coding.
- Able to take Photo of Antennas, Buildings, Access Points, as per specific requirements
- Abe to take Log the EME value at 3-10 feet distances from the antennas and throughout rooftop using NARDA meter
- Able to Post New Signage Posting and Remove Wear off Signs
- Detail Oriented & Able to understand RF Compliance requirements (e.g which sign to go where)
- Able to enter all Data in the mobile app & Upload site Photos, Videos.
- Upload the Site Audit Worksheet, meter readings and associated Site Photos through the web site and procedures within 24 hours of the survey date.
- Able to work with a team and have good conversation skills
- Cooperate with Backoffice and Compliance Verification Engineers for verification of submitted data.
- Notify Management team of progress (daily) and all issues in the field
Skills:
1. Must have great knowledge of Antenna Systems, Antenna models, RF theory and RF bands, MPE emissions.
2. Not fear of heights and able to climb up ladders on top of rooftop.
3. Should be able to lift and move weights of 40 – 50 pounds. (Less often cases)
4. Must have experience on MPE Surveys on cell sites. Doing MPE project/Reports for USA carriers is MUST and Big Plus.
5. Must be able to read and understand RFDS (Radio frequency data sheet) and CD (Construction Drawings)
6. Must be able to locate the correct site based on provided GPS coordinates/Access instructions.
7. Verify antenna location as per RFDS and CD
8. Must have Good practical knowledge of Operating field test meters like Narda NBM 550.
9. Coordinate with Management to determine which sites and when they are surveyed.
10. Follow specific directions and procedures to gain access to sites utilizing site access procedures and perform the requested tasks and measures per instructions gained at MCPS Training Course and industry safety standards.
11. Identify and take pictures of any BTS equipment/shelter on the rooftop. And Take pictures of all the existing RF signage on display on the roof accesses and on the rooftop. Take note of any missing RF Signage.
12. Signage Installation – Post/Remove the signs as per the guidance from the back-office team.
