Job Details:
Field Technician (Meter Installer)
Pay: $25.45/per hour PLUS an Incentive Based Pay Program
Shift: Full-Time, 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

Main Duties:
Will be required to join IBEW Union Local 44 Electric Union.
Reading/installing gas and electric meters for a local utility company and entering data into handheld computers.
Driving up to 50 miles per day to assigned work territory.
Prior experience reading maps helpful but not required.
Ability to walk 2 miles per day in all types of terrain and weather conditions
Company Vehicle provided (for work use only, employees will need reliable transportation to and from work daily)
Ability to deal with wildlife and animals is required.
Work Requirements:
Must be 20 years of age
Provide a VALID, Unexpired Driver's License (3 years of driving experience required)
H.S. Diploma or GED equivalency required
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening AND background check
Pre-placement physical required
Job Details:
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shift (8AM to 5PM)
Physical Requirements:
Bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking several miles per day; carry up to 20lbs of equipment; be able to effectively communicate with customers in a courteous manner displaying excellent customer service and perform other duties as assigned; Perform all work in a safe manner; Observe and follow all company/client procedures; Possess excellent customer service/communication skills; Be available for overtime (which may include weekends); Be comfortable using computers/technology.
Pay & Benefits:
Starting Wage is $25.40/hr plus Bonus Incentive Plan with a yearly pay increase.
