The Field Technician position reviews, develops and coordinates gas pipeline infrastructure projects, in the office and in the field, supporting our client’s mission to provide safe, efficient, and reliable services. A Field Technician is typically in a staff augmentation role working primarily in client offices in concert with client supervisors and project managers. A Field Technician is expected to act in a professional manner, follow safety programs and practices, pay attention to detail, execute work accurately, complete tasks on time, communicate about progress of work product and projects, be accountable for work product and adapt to the demands of a changing work environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Highly organized self-starter with the ability to work independently and coordinate/ follow-up with multiple priorities, while managing time effectively and meeting deadlines
- Ability to work with a high degree of problem solving with little supervision
- Ability to exercise independent judgment in completion of work
- From time to time, working conditions will be outdoors and involve inclement weather.
- This position requires the ability to lift and move at least 50 lbs., walk in unimproved areas, including occasionally difficult terrain and navigate tight spaces adjacent to pipelines and equipment.
- Precheck / validation of project locations.
- Visit project sites.
- Design Meter Set assemblies.
- Use AutoCAD.
- Prepare estimates including materials, parts, and labor.
- Prepare As-Builts.
- Assist client Specialist role with basic operational observations and basic preventative maintenance.
- Maintain task lists in MS Teams and use MS Office products.
- Issue and schedule Work Releases to field employees.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels for MSA parts.
- Monitor and respond promptly to email.
- Monitor and respond promptly to phone calls and voicemail.
- Coordinate schedules with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- We are strategically located near Las Vegas, Nevada (Clark County) to best serve the needs of our clients
- This position is located in our Henderson, NV office and in a staff augmentation role working primarily in client offices.
