Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, is looking for a Field Technician to join our industry leading Abednego Environmental Services LLC team. You will be joining a talented team that monitors and maintains a variety of air and water quality systems pertaining to the paint booth at an automotive manufacturing site. In this position you will provide customers with problem solving support, generating a high level of customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do:
- Perform daily water quality analysis:
- pH
- Conductivity
- Bacteria
- Turbidity
- Alkalinity
- Solid's testing
- Booth balance:
- Air flow measurements
- Temp/humidity monitoring
- Monitor air filtration and manage filter change schedule
- Monitoring the chemical feed system:
- Maintain chemical inventory
- Interfacing with the chemical vendor weekly
- Make chemical adjustments to the system
- Maintain spare parts and consumables inventory
- Troubleshooting systems as needed:
- Supply/Exhaust fans
- Multiple valve configurations
- Pump performance and tuning
- Air flow performance
- Reviewing and generating daily documentation and monthly reports
- Microsoft office
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
Location Specifics:
Location: Fremont, CA
Schedule: Night Shift
Pay Range: $26.50/hr
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, talking and hearing
- Must be able to wear a respirator under certain conditions
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills: proven ability to interface positively and professionally with the customer
- Ability to analyze readings and put data in a spreadsheet in a logical manner
- Possess above-average verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to explain results of data gatherings/
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or sciences

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:
$26.50
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range is based on full-time 40 hours per week. Ecolab in good faith anticipates it will pay within the posted range. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining the compensation for a potential new employee such as education, training, experience, work location, travel (if required), etc.
