Patient education sessions may be conducted from the comfort of your own home and also will be working within a VA clinic, with hands-on patient contact with veterans. RS Medical designs and builds prescription-grade medical devices that provide pain relief and muscle rehabilitation. Our DME products empower patients suffering from severe, often debilitating musculoskeletal conditions to get safe and effective on-the-spot treatment at home. Since its founding in 1990, RS Medical has helped over 1.5 million patients in the US reduce pain, regain mobility and get back to the activities of life. Many of our patients are United States Veterans.
As a Field Support Representative, you'll be responsible working with Sales Account Manager(s) to assist and support in-clinical, telephonic, or video patient education and administrative duties.
What You'll Be Doing

  • Work closely with Sales Account Manager(s) to support patients and accounts.
  • Schedule patient education sessions in a timely manner within our CRM system.
  • Conduct patient education sessions within a clinical setting/or remote instruction on the use of the prescribed RS Medical product.
  • Gather all patient documentation information accurately, efficiently, and promptly, and enter data into the RS Medical CRM system.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and enter into Salesforce in a timely manner.
  • Respond to requests for information on submitted orders or documentation in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and support effective and responsive communication with the Director of Sales Operations, Regional Manager(s) and Account Manager(s) within RS Medical.
  • Maintain an organized, quiet and efficient home office to support patient education and administrative activities.
  • Daily use of company information systems, with utilization of a laptop computer, cell phone and printer to support required business activities.
  • Control and account for all product inventory.

Requirements
What You'll Bring to Us
Demonstrated track record of:
  • Organization, time efficiency, self-motivated, determined with a desire to succeed.
  • Personable and dependable

Education:
  • Requires a minimum of at least 6 months experience in clinic, hospital, medical office setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • VA, Worker's Compensation or Personal Injury Protection experience a plus.
  • U.S Veteran/Armed Forces Reserve a plus.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and the use of other office equipment and electronic device e.g., copy, fax, printers, cell phones.
  • Comfortable working within a medical office clinic setting that includes clinicians such as Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Physical Therapists, etc.
  • CRM experience, Salesforece.com a plus.

Preferred Additional skills:
  • Knowledge of electrotherapy, bracing products or other medical products is helpful.
  • Solid knowledge of the Veterans Administration/Workers Compensation or Personal Injury Protection.

Additional Necessities
Field Support Representatives work remotely. Requires frequent or continuous periods of talking, sitting and repetitive motion of the hands/wrists, and good general vision and hearing. May also require occasional standing, walking, reaching, grasping, and handling. Must be able to move and lift as much as 25 pounds of product and materials over short distances and height. May require traveling by car or other mode of transportation (60% remote/40% travel) with the ability to carry and move minimal demonstration units for patient education. Must be able to drive and possess valid driver's license and insurance. May require working long or extended hours. May be exposed to patients with infectious diseases. Must meet hospital credentialing requirements, e.g. Reptrax, Vendormate, etc.
