The Opportunity:
We are looking for Field Network Engineers to join our team providing network and IT services for 500+ diverse clients supporting network installations, troubleshooting, and break fix services.
What We Require:
- Ability to travel from site to site to perform assigned work orders (WOs)
- Customer -driven attitude with the highest levels of professionalism and integrity
- Effective communication/documentation skills and attention to detail
- Experience in networking, data equipment, PCs, cabling, fiber optics, or security devices
- Effective problem-solving skills by taking initiative to find solutions
- Ability to take initiative
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively with a team
- Minimum of one year experience installing low voltage cable
- Minimum of one year experience in restoring services by troubleshooting and replacing failed components
- Computer skills including network gear configurations and Microsoft Office
- Technical and interpersonal skills working with Network Operations Centers
- Ability to be on-call on a rotating schedule
- Must have a basic laptop, smart phone, hotspot and telecom hand tools or the ability to get them

The Location:
Interconnect dispatches its valued Field Service Engineers from their homes so there is no need to go to a central office and do busy work. We cover a 350-mile radius from city-center. Travel is required with some overnight stays to better serve clients and further develop markets.
