The Opportunity:
Hach is seeking a full time Field Service Technician I to join our team in the Austin, TX area.

What Will I Be Doing?
- Promotes a positive customer experience and serves as on-site customer contact for technical and service-related problems
- Provide routine repair, calibration/verification, and preventative maintenance services for Hach equipment and instruments located on customer sites
- Submits prompt, accurate service reports that affect billing, inventory, instrument history, and instrument failure.
- Works with and takes direction from Field Service Manager/dispatch team to efficiently execute pre-call planning, efficient service schedule routing, and visit requirements and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Travel required: up to 75%
What Qualifications Do I Need?
- Being mechanically and electrically inclined is a must - we especially want to hear from you if you have previous experience with Preventative Maintenance and technical diagnostics/repair.
- Proven ability to self-manage and take initiative; you are resilient, resourceful, and an expert at managing a busy workload with competing priorities.
- You have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
