This position is knowledgeable in many facets of the organization and will provide guidance, training, and instruction to customers and various members of the team.
You will be based locally but will also travel and have direct customer contact. How You Will Spend Your Time: Every day brings a new challenge at Wood-Mizer. Here are some ways you will be spending your time for each role: Responsibilities: Interfaces with customers regarding technical aspects of the organization's products or services Provides problem resolution and troubleshooting to customers over the telephone and in the field Assists with product updates Relays customer feedback regarding products to appropriate individuals in sales, quality assurance, and product management Determines best method to resolve problems ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to the organization's policies Provides guidance, training, and instruction to non-technical representatives Possesses a thorough technical knowledge of assigned products Make service calls on industrial customers Minimum of 25% travel is required, weekends may be included Maintain Safety Policies (safety glasses, ear protection, steel toe shoes, etc.) Keep work area clean and orderly Complete Certification material as required Knowledge of Hydraulics Strong mechanical aptitude Willingness to participate on a team and drive continuous improvement activities Things that are Important to Have: Below are some requirements for this specific role: EDUCATION : High School Diploma or equivalency required Associates in Electronics preferred but not required EXPERIENCE : Minimum of 2 years’ experience with service in the manufacturing field or similar Mechanical Aptitude SKILLS : Good interpersonal skills/ dealing with people in a positive manner Self-starter Ability to stay focused while working closely with others Excellent communication skills electronically, written, and oral Excellent organizational skills Moderate typing skills, telephone skills, computer literate Moderate knowledge of Word and Excel Must be willing to travel 25% Safety conscious Must be able to meet minimum DOT requirements If you are looking for a career, and not just a job, apply today and learn how Wood-Mizer employees are making a difference around the world and right here in Indiana.
