Job Description
Columbia Vehicle Group / Tomberlin is seeking a high-energy, driven individual for the role of Field Service Technician. Field Service Technician is a remote traveling position responsible for servicing our vehicles in the field as well as training Service Technicians to service our vehicles at our partner service centers and dealerships.
Job Responsibilities
- Promptly responding to all calls regarding technical and service issues relating to products.
- Maintaining a tracking log of all communications relevant to the proper response and resolution of all technical and service issues.
- Develop and execute a multi-tiered Technical and Service Training agenda.
- Work closely with Dealer Development Managers to schedule and conduct training sessions.
- Support the development of Technical and Service Training communications.
- Supporting the review, resolution, response and reporting of all Warranty issues relating to Dealer-submitted warranty claims.
- Staying current on all new and existing products.
- Supporting the development of new features, product enhancements and added value / cost saving product development initiatives.
- Working closely with the Operations team to help identify and implement improved processes and procedures in the Operations and Assembly functions.
- Any task assigned by a member of management.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Associates degree or high is preferred.
- Previous work experience in a mechanical field is preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license (with a clean driving record)
Time Requirements
- Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM
- Some weekends
- Must have flexible schedule.
Compensation
- Salary: $42,000 - $48,000 based on experience
- Performance-based incentive compensation plan
