Job Description
Premier Graphic Arts manufacturer and distributor of toner based Digital Printing equipment is searching to a hire Field Service Technician for the Charlotte, NC area.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide on-site technical assistance for the installation and service repair of the recently launched Toner-Based Digital Printing system.
- Install, analyze and evaluate equipment performance.
- Provide solutions to service issues..
- Stay in contact with Technical Service Manager, Regional Service Manager and the Technical Support Phone team to ensure client issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Complete and submit service paperwork in a timely accurate manner..
- Manage and complete all preventative maintenance requirements.
- Attend training classes to keep current on new and existing toner based Digital Printing equipment.
- Conduct technical training classes to technicians as needed.
Qualifications include:
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience servicing toner based production equipment.
- Experience in electronics and mechanical operations .
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good client communication skills.
- PC proficient with emphasis on MSO
- Able to travel within 3 hour drive from the Charlotte, NC area. Company car ad travel expenses are provided.
