Who we need?
We are seeking an experienced technician with mechanical experience a great personality and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Travel between sites to service different customers within an extensive region
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems of scrubbers, burnishers, sweepers and other floor care equipment
- Repair or replace major components of scrubbers, burnishers, sweepers and other floor care equipment
- Read diagrams, schematics and manufacturer instructions associated with equipment to diagnosis and repair
- Perform routine service and adjustments on equipment including fluid and filter replacement
- Provide accurate estimates and quotes for customer repairs
- Communicate with customer and service manager findings, recommendations and any other relevant information
- Effective scheduling and planning to coordinate and complete customer service calls, repairs, breakdowns and planned maintenance
- Maintain records of service activities through reporting documentation, service agreements, repair orders, machine checklists, etc.
- Preserve high level of customer satisfaction with integrity, follow-through, professionalism and superior communication skills
- Use of tablet and company software to document all service and repair history
Requirements
- Must be willing to travel extensively in Arizona
- Must be willing to travel to occasionally out of state to CA and NV
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years’ experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing mobile equipment, including one or more of the following: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems and internal combustion engines
- Capable of using a personal computer and have basic knowledge of Microsoft office suite
- Ability to pass DMV check, drug screen and comprehensive background check
- Must be have a clean driving record in the last 3 years and be able to maintain a clean driving record after employment
- Excellent communication skills and customer focused attitude
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
