Field Service Technician

Position Opening – Field Service Technician

The selected candidate will:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on compressed air systems for customers throughout southwest Virginia and southern West Virginia, including after-hours emergencies
• Utilize safe work practices while working independently to complete the assigned tasks
• Complete documentation on service orders and timecards neatly and accurately
• Have good communication skills with the rest of the team to find solutions for repairs and installations
• Be responsible for the upkeep of company-issued vehicle and tools
• Be proactive in helping the company grow by seeking to acquire new service business, maintenance contracts and parts/accessory sales

Preferred Background/Experience:

• At least 2 years of field service experience performing installations, maintenance and repair of industrial equipment, preferably compressed air equipment
• Strong electrical/plumbing/mechanical aptitude
• Refrigeration certification beneficial but not required
• Own hand tools
• PC literate, specifically Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel
• Physical ability to perform all job duties of the position
• Clean driving record
• Satisfactory background check per company guidelines
• Ability to pass a drug test

Salary: $18.00 - $38.00 per hour
