Job Duties, Knowledge, and Skills Include:
Knowledge of a variety of maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, repairing, or replacing mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic equipment, and ability to perform periodic maintenance and inspection of operational warehouse and shipping equipment.
Experience operating, maintaining, and repairing a wide variety of industrial facilities and equipment, such as:
- Loading dock equipment, such as dock levelers and plates, truck restraints, overhead doors, bumpers, shelters, and seals.
- Warehouse racking and other product storage systems, including assembly and removal.
- Powered industrial vehicles, including internal combustion or electrically powered forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and pallet jacks.
- Compactors, balers, and related equipment.
- Warehouse conveyance systems, such as roller and belt conveyors.
· Proficiency in utilizing a variety of general hand, electrical, and pneumatic tools, safely and effectively.
· Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and related equipment.
· Welding experience is a plus.
· Experience with specialty diagnostic equipment is a plus.
· Experience utilizing large industrial tools is a plus.
· Ability to maintain a professional attitude and appearance in the field.
· Provide excellent on-site customer service and communication.
· Safely perform all duties and observe all safety precautions.
· Lift to 50-70 pounds, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl, push, and pull on an as needed.
· Record time and service performed on physical work orders or mobile devices.
· Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.
· Valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age.
