Field Service Technician

We are seeking a highly self-motivated Field Service Engineer to join our growing team! We are a global leader supplying products to the Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Wastewater Treatment Industries. Our Service department works with mechanical valves, electrical level gauging devices and waste gas burners. As Field Service Technician, responsibilities include performing in Field Service, installation, in person training on mechanical and electrical products, and in office service over the phone, as required. Performing such Field Service includes opportunities to travel domestically and internationally, as needed.

We are a team of experts in our field who allow individuals to use their existing expertise and skillsets to help them succeed! The ideal candidate has a positive can-do attitude, is adaptable in situations on the fly and proactively communicates any potential problems or issues to the team.

Responsibilities:

• Field Service / Installation / Training on Mechanical and Electrical Products
• In office service over the phone, as needed, position requires in office duties when not traveling
• 50-75% Travel Both Domestically and Internationally
• Phone / Email Support, Troubleshooting Etc. when in office
• Respond quickly to customer problems within 24 hours
• Make equipment recommendations to customers
• Generating Quality Service Reports
• Communicate Potential Product Improvements / Problem Areas
• Assist in Producing Training Materials
• Marketing Field Service Capabilities to New and Existing Customers

Qualifications:

• Experience with Mechanical and Electrical Products
• A technical degree in electronics is preferable
• Knowledge of Operation of Oscilloscopes, Voltmeters etc. required.
• Ability to diagnose problems with equipment
• Great communication skills to work with customers
• Amazing problem solving skills
• Great mechanical aptitude
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong attention to detail
• ​Strong organizational skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Email, Word Processing, Etc.
